Focus on Fundamentals Wilderness Retreat and Get away WorkshopAugust 16, 17, 18Professional photographer Wendy D invites you to join her and her team for a fabulous weekend of camping, learning, photographing and exploring at the incredible Singing Lands (http://singinglands.ca/). Just west of Kamloops.Meadows, rolling hills, forests, water fall, lakes and natural light will be your subjects for this weekend of “no gadgets” photography. Just you, your camera (well maybe a tripod too), your eyes and a desire to “see”, oh yes and camping gear. The weekend workshop will focus on the fundamentals of photography, not only technically but aesthetically as well. We won't be downloading or reviewing on site, we will share our images online after the weekend is over, Yay!
We have laid out an agenda for the workshop but we will be fine tuning our subject matter according to the participants. We will provide presentations, exercises, technical support, and tons of photographing time.The workshop will be limited to 12 people, to ensure everyone gets quality guidance. Some knowledge of DSLR’s and photography helpful but a keen desire to learn is more important.
