Who are you?
"I was born Daniel Shiner, then became Danny Brown, but am now Daniel Arnold. I'm a human being. I'm a son, brother, and husband."
What do you do?"I'm an actor, writer, and producer for the theatre and screen." Why do you do what you do?"When I was 12 years old I got paid to be in a play after which young girls would line up for my autograph. I was bitten by the bug. I started writing soon after that, and producing shows and shorts. I believe that storytelling - showing humanity to itself - is a noble and needed part of society. I've heard artists be called "doctors for the soul", and I like to think of my work that way."[fourcol_one_first]

[/fourcol_one_last]Who or what inspires you to continue doing what you do?"When I feel my work affecting people, either with laughter, tears, or new ways of thinking, that inspires me to keep it up. I'm also driven to excel for some reason, and this is a career in which it's never easy to be satisfied, so that keeps me going and striving. Honestly? Awards help. And seeing people doing what I do and enjoying it is a great inspiration too. But really I wouldn't keep doing it if it weren't for artistic inspiration itself, and I find that everywhere, in a movie, in a sunset, in a song, in a conversation, an article ... a picture :)"
