Basics - Start photographing on manual
Date: Sunday July 16 1:00-3:30 OR. Monday Aug 21 6:30-9:00
Set your camera to MANUAL. Create the images you imagine. An intensive, techy but not really techy, hands on photo workshop. Learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, different lenses, how to see and meter the light. We will start with a chat in the office discussing your specific requests, plus covering aperture, shutter speed, ISO. We will head out for a photo walk, giving you the opportunity to actually do/try new things, I’ll be there giving you individual attention plus talking composition, colour, balance, what makes a good photo. Open to all ages!

Lightroom basics
Date: Tuesday July 18 Or Monday July 25
Time: 6:30 - 9pm
You have taken lots of great photos, now what? Time to figure out your post processing workflow. That means several things; where to store the images, how to process them - Tweak them, make them go from being good photos to being Awesome. This class is an overview of Lightroom, an introduction, plus answering specific questions you have. Open to all ages!

Full Day workshop: Light, Portraits, Lightroom
Date: Sunday Aug 20 - 9-5
This is a full day, hands on workshop dealing with portraits, lighting and processing. We start with a Camera review, then on to studio lighting. We will have a Live person to photograph, whom we will then chat about posing and helping your client feel more comfortable. BYO Lunch, there are a lot of places around the office if you want to support our local community. Then we will dive into location/environmental lighting, finding a background, and again a live person to photograph, Download and process your images in lightroom
